Report on the IUEF 6th Mega Summit & School Excellence Award – 2026

The International United Educationists' Fraternity (IUEF) Trust, in association with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ramayan Vishwavidyalaya, successfully organised the 6th IUEF Mega Summit & School Excellence Award – 2026 on 12th July 2026. The summit brought together eminent educationists, school leaders, policymakers, academicians, and administrators from across the country to deliberate on the theme, "Challenges in Implementation of Mandatory Skill Education, Kaushal Bodh, Kaushal Vikas and Multi Sector Skill & Mainstream Skill Subjects."

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a captivating cultural presentation by the students of The Cambrian School. A solemn obituary tribute was paid to Late Mr. Manvendra M. Kanoogo, Founder Member of IUEF and former Principal of Sunrise Group of Schools, and Late Mr. Amitabh Srivastava, esteemed educationist and IUEF member, in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the field of education.

The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Jayant Chowdhuri, Chairman of IUEF Trust, whose address set the tone for a day of meaningful dialogue and collaboration. The keynote address by renowned educationist and TEDx Speaker Mr. Saumitra Dubey highlighted the importance of integrating skill-based education into mainstream schooling to prepare students for the demands of the future.

A thought-provoking panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Dheeraj Mehrotra, Vice President, GEMS Education India Region, featured distinguished panelists Ms. Prerna Mitra, Ms. Hema Kalakoti, Mr. Arup Sarkar, Dr. B. S. N. Murthy, and Dr. Sujit Kumar Jana. The discussion explored the implementation, opportunities, and challenges of integrating skill and vocational education into mainstream schooling.

The summit also witnessed the launch of PRO ADHIKAR, a Human Rights Organisation, led by Advocate Varsha Singh. Adding to the significance of the occasion were two special publication launches—the latest General Knowledge Book by Ace Vision Publications and 'Career Baatein' by Mr. Shubhankar Bhattacharya, both aimed at enriching students' learning and career awareness.

The Open House Session featured insightful deliberations by Mrs. Binny Singh, Director, Tiny Tots Group of Schools; Dr. R. K. Dwivedi, Principal, Indorama Public School, Jagdishpur, Amethi; Dr. Sujit Kumar Jana, Member Advisor, CBSE Sahodaya School Complex, Kolkata Chapter; Mr. Manab Kumar Dey, Principal and Director, Mount Litera Zee School, Baharampur; Ms Tulika Charan Anand, DGM Seth MR Jaypuria School and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Education Transformation Leader and President, PSPA. Their practical perspectives and rich experiences encouraged meaningful dialogue among educators and delegates.

The afternoon session was graced by the Hon'ble Mayor of Ayodhya, Mahant Shri Girish Pati Tripathi Ji, who addressed the gathering and inspired the audience with his vision for education as a catalyst for nation-building and social progress.

The summit culminated with the prestigious IUEF School Excellence Awards – 2026, recognising outstanding schools, educators, and institutions for their exemplary contributions to academic excellence, innovation, leadership, and educational transformation. The award ceremony celebrated the unwavering dedication of educators who continue to shape the future through quality education.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in education.
